The Student DREAMers Alliance, an initiative of the Hispanic Alliance, is launching the first mentorship program for its student members. The Student DREAMers Alliance (SDA) program is a youth leadership accelerator designed to empower and magnify the voices of Dreamers, to increase awareness of education inequity and advocate for changes in state legislation to achieve equal access to public, post-secondary education for all youth.
Currently, the program serves high school juniors and seniors from Berea & Carolina High School in Greenville County and R.B. Stall High School in North Charleston. By volunteering as an SDA Mentor, you’ll develop a one-on-one relationship with a student over the course of one year and empower Hispanic youth to achieve educational excellence and professional success.
